This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Enjoy this sound effect.

An lfo set to 1hz connected to doepfer a-160 clock divider and hexinverter électronique jupiter storm "cv all". Before recording i reset the clock divider. Low tone triggered by /2middle tone by /16highest tone triggered by upiter storm output xi. I can't reset jupiter storm. Ok, what do we hear/see. Nlc jerk off without any input is the engine for this simple patch. In my little world i see nlcs chaos modules as a helping hand. I find the though of chaos very pleasing. . . Spring reverb and analog delay are used.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.

About 177bpm.

Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. July 24, 2011 was a historic day in japan. After almost 60 years, tv analog signals were terminated. I just can't believe it. My tube now shows nothing but sand storm. All tv signals were switched to digital. The last vital sign was sent from nhk, and stopped. Recorded with marantz pmd661 and at835st.

Using an lfo, mixer, exp vca, envelope generator, cycling envelope generator and spring reverb to create strange sounds. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is about 28 sec - cycles. . . Dont knowonly short sounds - goodamplitude variation - goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - mediummusical value - low to mediumentertaining - medium?.

1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.

Rumble made with wave rectifier, vactrolfilter etc. . . But a full spectrum rumble!.
